Atlantis Bahamas Solo Trip Review: What My 3 Nights at Atlantis Actually Cost

Atlantis Bahamas Solo Trip Review

It was so nice seeing the water animals, so many options to be able to swim with them at Dolphin Cay. I also saw people snorkeling nearby. From fishes, to sharks, the aquatic animals get a 10.

The Food at Atlantis Bahamas

While this was NOT all inclusive I spent about $500 total for my 3 nights 4 days at Atlantis Bahamas in terms of food. I was not monitoring my spending. I had wings and plantain chips, key lime pie, arugula pizza, breakfast at Poseidon’s Table, drinks at the casino, and Starbucks on departure morning.

I paid $35 to go to the Dolphin Cay beach. I got room service crab cakes and beer, ice cream, and a breakfast buffet with multiple mimosas. Oh and I did buy a $50 SD card with 8GB!

Atlantis Bahamas Waterpark

I was NOT aware Atlantis Bahamas had its own waterpark! Imagine your first solo trip and you land on this FULL oasis?!

The Atlantis waterpark has some crazy rides, especially when you are blindly going on it. So many rides, and very beautiful intense rides. There is also a wonderful lazy river.

Atlantis Bahamas Casino

I won $200 at the Atlantis Bahamas casino! Unfortunately the club was closed during my stay, which was during the middle of the week so it makes sense. But that did not stop me from winning $200 at the casino (that means I only spent like $300 right?!).

Lots of blackjack, table games, and machines. A mixed crowd and the drinks were actually good (I got something fruity!).

The Coral at Atlantis Bahamas Hotel Room

I stayed at The Coral at Atlantis Bahamas. My room was very close to the elevator which was easy for getting in and out.

There are so many pools on this property. Each area has one if not many pools. I did sneak into the Royal’s pool which I guess you need a wristband for, but I was there to have fun not just relax (but that was the place to do it!).

We LOVE hotel rooms that have bathtubs that open to the beautiful balcony. There was also a dishwasher. The balcony had a nice view of the front of the resort. Overall the bed was comfortable and Octavia loved it too.

Jose Andres Restaurant at Atlantis Bahamas

Let me tell you they had a key lime martini and it was potent. I am a HUGE foodie and this was my first time trying Jose Andres. Despite being an Orlando native near Downtown Disney.

Unfortunately I did have the ceviche and it did not say oranges and I got diarrhea. I was awake at 2am and had to cancel my dolphin excursion in the morning.

Transportation at Atlantis Bahamas

The Atlantis Bahamas resort does offer transportation to and from the airport which came out to around $35 total. While I did book last minute, they did pick me up and drop me back off.

While on the Atlantis Bahamas resort there is transportation to each part of the resort, and even a part off the resort. It is a nice shuttle bus with AC. Truly 10/10 on the transportation in terms of clean, safe, and smooth riding. I remember looking out the window enjoying every second.

Why I Chose Atlantis Bahamas for My First Solo Trip

I chose Atlantis Bahamas as my first solo trip because I went to Nassau with my mom before and felt very safe. Returning now to go to Atlantis Bahamas and relaxing at a dolphin beach for $35? I think this really is Paradise Island… oh wait.

But I loved every second of this trip. I have no complaints. I was fortunate enough to only pay about $350 with my credit card bonus points and I had no idea this was a hotel in the thousands.

I feel so beyond grateful and had an amazing unforgettable time. Atlantis Bahamas holds a very special place in my heart.
